With MAXFLEXX, iNOEX introduces a new generation of adjustable calibration sleeves to the market. MAXFLEXX consists of an inflexible inlet and a flexible calibration cage. All pressure classes for one nominal pipe diameter can be produced without any interruption of the production process. The shrinkage factor depending on the wall thickness can be mastered speedily which ensures that the exterior diameter can be precisely adapted. MAXFLEXX stands for a maximum of flexibility.

Adjustable cooling.

Water for cooling is directly lead into an integrated water ring system in the inlet zone which provides a lubricating film needed for the pipe surface. Water quantities can be manually adapted.

The calibration cage. Flexibility to compensate for shrinkage. Unconditionally circular pipes.

MAXFLEXX uses the globally successful Advantage principle for obtaining the required precision in nominal diameters. The flexible bands construction of the calibration cage is at one end attached to the rigid inlet, at the other end it is connected to a flexible outlet ring. Contraction or expansion in length-wise direction give the cage a slightly conical shape on the outlet side. This shaping process takes place just before the pipe leaves the MAXFLEXX calibration sleeve. It is needed to adapt the pipe's exterior diameter to the set nominal diameter, including allowance for shrinkage factor.
The flexible bands construction ensures that the inside of the cage is perfectly circular in any position, which in turn produces a circular pipe.

Speedy perfection.

The calibration cage is precisely set to the required exterior diameter, including allowance for shrinkage. Adaptation is effected through a manually operated robust setting unit. A counter mounted at the inlet supplies exact figures – you get all information at a glance.
And everything is speedily completed.
