SAVEOMAT IGS M2 | C2 | D2: The starter system for the mono- and the co-extrusion.
This practically proven gravimetric system which is installed on more than 2.000 extrusion lines all over the world, has given a convincing performance in raw material savings and quality improvement. Granules and powder but also poorly flowing materials such as wood flour, chalk and recycled materials etc. can be processed.
Besides the proven weight per metre control, the SAVEOMAT IGS C version offers mass throughput control for 2 extruders in the co-extrusion process. The D-version is suitable for 2 material components on one extruder.
The system in short.
The funnel weighers are mounted directly on top of the extruder opening respectively the dosing unit. Materials are thus fed directly into the in-feed section of the extruder screw or the dosing screw.
In the D-version, two funnel weighers are coupled via one dosing unit. For this application, feed screws in many different performance ranges are available. A similarly large variety is offered for our storage hoppers, their volumes vary between 15 to 200 l.
