PEXLINK Infrared oven: 1-step cross linking process for PEX-A extrusion.
Leads energy to where it is needed.
The new PEXLINK infrared technology is a fast and reliable one-stage process. Through infrared radiation, the pipe is completely cross-linked before it reaches the vacuum tank. Subsequent cross-linking is not required.
The infrared technology
Infrared units emit radiation which penetrate the material. Radiation is then absorbed by the peroxide which triggers the cross-linking process.
Radiation periods required for the cross-linking process have direct influence on the haul-off speed. If a pipe passes through several subsequent infrared units, haul-off speed may be increased to up to 30 m/min without affecting the crosslinking degree or the pipe quality.
2 variations for different pipe diameters
A varying energy supply permits the production of different pipes or pipe diameters with only one infrared oven. For the production of different pipe diameters, two product types are available: vertical mounting of the infrared oven for smaller pipe diameters and horizontal mounting for larger diameters.
Your profit:
- Modern infrared technology for inline cross-linking, adaptable to different materials
- Increase in line speeds
- Integrated fully automatic process control which allows conclusions to be drawn about the dosing process and oven settings. Adaption to set values.
