AUREX i-line ERS: 100% wall thickness measurement and flaw detection up to 400mm pipe diameter
AUREX i-line ERS offers you the safety of a 100 % quality production. The patented measurement of electronically rotating ultrasonic signals ensures that no spot of the pipe passes undetected. The complete measurement in length wise direction and around the circumference protects you from undiscovered product flaws.
Up to 76 sensors have their pulses rotate virtually around the measuring object at a speed of 50.000 measuring values per second. Three sensors each are interconnected for this unique measuring principle. Like this, all vertically and angularly reflected signals can be recorded and evaluated.
AUREX i-line ERS covers a diameter range of 1 - 630 mm.
The system in short.
The ERS scanner can be mounted after the vacuum tank or a cooling tank. Water for the ERS systems is supplied from the existing water circulation system. When products are changed, only the centering and sealing disks for different dimensions must be changed. Complex water reprocessing units, pressure generating units or sealing units are not required. Due to the static position of the ultrasonic sensors, there are no measuring faults or signal transmission faults.
