Vacuum technology of the future: IVT
With the iVT vacuum tank, iNOEX presents a new modular series of vacuum tanks which offer an innovative technology in view of the vacuum, the cooling
process and the tempering. The complete package is offered with an excellent
cost/performance ratio. The tank consists of the following basic elements:
- inlet module
- cooling and tempering modules
- water supply module
The unique feature of this vacuum tank is its segmented design. Each module can be separated for conversion or maintenance. This is done by simple manual shifting of the movable modules.
Efficient tempering for highest cooling capacity
The driving force for temperature transition is a large difference between the temperature on the outer pipe wall and the cooling water. In order to reach a temperature gradient which is as high as possible, the spray nozzles are switched off in one or more vacuum tank segments. The outer pipe wall will heat up again in this segment. Due to the higher difference in temperature, the heat transport will be increased in the following vacuum tank segments. Tempering increases the cooling efficiency of the vaccum tank by approx. 20 %.
